Nearly 11,000 Haitians have applied to remain in the United States under temporary protected status since the Obama administration stopped deporting Haitians after the catastrophic earthquake in Haiti.

 

Only a few of those are from Arizona, which is not surprising because the Haitian population here is small to begin with.
